Use a flared pouring rim with a shape that will maximize the acceleration of the liquid (use variational calculus) after a constriction in the neck such that the liquid leaves the rim with an appreciable velocity. The acceleration must occur from the initial pouring angle through the final pouring angle, and it needs to impart a velocity sufficient to induce laminar separation at the rim.

The current state of technology will allow for personal recreation of any device that can be made of plastic via 3D printer like devices ( See Google). With a little more developement, one can even print electronics as well ( See Google). The creation of an opensource repository for blueprints of standard items that one might want to build rather than purchase would be of great benifit. So OpenBluePrints is my starting point to create such a repository.
(no, not the weapons type) (June 2004)
A modular segmented approach to robotic manipulators. Principally they consist of hollow torodial and hollow cylindrical sections faced with a radial stepper moter. Each section will contain a microprocessor and battery for control of its drive plates. The sections will be electically connected with a data/power bus for battery charging and command transmission.
Once I have some drawings I will put them up here.
